The Gospel in the 3 Points

Hello everyone! Today the pastor didn’t preach the Gospel, but I am going to show you the Gospel in his 3 points which were:

1. Be all in

2. Learn to perceive God’s hand

3. This is a promise (he was using that with what he was talking about, I’m just going to get the Gospel from it)

The Gospel in point 1 (be all in) is that Jesus was “all in” for us! Jesus put all of Himself “in”. He died for us completely, He took our sins and died for us totally! The pastor’s sermon was mainly on the story of how he and his wife adopted their little girl (they had just brought her home), which is completely fine and good, just not for a sermon. Anyway, Jesus was “all in” for us and we should be “all in” for Him, Jesus is our example and motivation.

The Gospel in point 2 (learn to perceive God’s hand) is that we can perceive God’s hand through the most loving act that He did for us. We can see completely that it was God’s hand that Jesus came down from heaven, was born of a virgin, died for us and then rose from the grave on the 3rd day! We can see that it is God’s had that we are saved from our sins! In fact it wasn’t just His hand, it was God who died for us! Also we can perceive God’s hand in many other ways, when we moved from Ohio I’m sure it was God’s hand helping us.

The Gospel in point 3 (This is a promise) is that we have God’s promise. We have the promise that we are the sons and daughters of God, we have the promise that we will live with Him forever in heaven! We have the promise that we are saved from our sins because Jesus died for us! Jesus gave us all of those promises and He fulfilled them at the cross!

So that’s the Gospel in the 3 points! I hope you enjoyed!

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
