The Gentiles, Acceptable?

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Romans 15:15-16 which says:

15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.”

Paul is talking about how he is the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. God had given grace to Paul so that He could be a minister to the Gentiles and Paul has told the Gospel to the Gentiles so that they can be an acceptable sacrifice to God! Without Jesus’ sacrifice no one would be acceptable to God, especially the Gentiles because they were not God’s people.

Because Jesus died for us we can trust in Jesus and become acceptable to God because Jesus, who was and is perfect, died for us on the cross! Jesus is the son of God and He came down from heaven to die for us on the cross because He loved us! Now if we trust in Him then we will be acceptable to God. Jesus gave us His perfection on the cross and He took our sins on Him!

If you have not trusted in Jesus then why don’t you trust in Him now and become acceptable to God. If you have not trusted in Jesus then you are not acceptable to God, even if you think you are a good person. You will die with your sins on you if you do not trust in Jesus! Jesus died for you on the cross so that you would be saved from your sins, why don’t you trust in Him and live?

Paul gave the Gospel to the Gentiles because that is what God called Him to do. As Christians we should share the Gospel with others too, we should share the Gospel with unbelievers so that they can live. If they have not heard the Gospel then unbelievers cannot trust in Jesus, we should share the Gospel with them so that they can be saved from their sins. Jesus died for us and we should share that good news with others so that they can be acceptable in God’s sight because of Jesus’ sacrifice. We should share the Gospel with others!

Jesus died for us and now if we trust in Him then we are acceptable in God’s sight, thank You Jesus for dying for us on the cross! Praise God that we are saved from our sins!

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
