By Grace

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Romans 11:5-6 which says:

So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”

Paul is saying that, yes, Jews can be saved too. Paul said in verse 1 that God did not reject His people, some of His people rejected Him. But those Jews that accept Jesus’ sacrifice will be saved by grace. All people, Jews and Gentiles, can trust in Jesus’ sacrifice and become saved from their sins because of the grace of God.

God was gracious enough to send His only son to die for our sins because He loved us,

“For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (NIV John 3:16)

Jesus died for us on the cross, and if we trust in Him as our savior then we will live. We are saved by the grace of God that Jesus died for us,

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (NIV Ephesians 2:8)

As Christians we should spread the news that we are saved by grace. We should tell others that Jesus came down from heaven and died for us so that we could live. Jesus came and He had grace enough to die for our sins on the cross so that we could be saved. We are saved by the grace of God. All people can be saved from their sins by God’s grace, we should share that good news with unbelievers so that they can accept the grace of God and be saved!

By God’s grace we are saved from our sins!

If you are an unbeliever, why don’t you trust in Jesus and be saved from your sins? Jesus died for you on the cross and no matter who you are, you can trust in Jesus and be saved from your sins. Jesus gave us grace and died for us. We don’t have to work for our salvation, we can accept the grace of God. Jesus died for us so that we could live, why don’t you trust in Jesus and be saved from your sins? God is gracious, why don’t you accept Jesus’ sacrifice?

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
