No Condemnation

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Romans 8:1-2 which says:

“8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death.”

We were sinners who were condemned to death, everyone who sins has condemnation on them. But there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, that is what Paul said in verse 1. Why is there no condemnation for those who are in Jesus? Because through Jesus (as Paul says) “the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death”. Jesus died for us on the cross! Now if we trust in Jesus we are freed from the law of sin and death. All sinners have condemnation on them, all sinners will die with God’s wrath on them, unless you trust in Jesus and are freed from sin and death.

There is no condemnation for Christians and we should share that good news with unbelievers. We should give unbelievers the Gospel so that they can live. We should give unbelievers the Gospel so that they can be freed from the law of sin and death. If we trust in Jesus we are freed from condemnation, we should share that with unbelievers. They can be freed from condemnation if they trust in Jesus, we should give them the good news of the Gospel so that they can trust in Jesus and live. We are freed from their sins and we should share the Good news of the Gospel so that they can be freed from their sins.

If you are an unbeliever why don’t you trust in Jesus and live. Jesus freed us from the condemnation of the law, why don’t you believe in Jesus and be freed from the law of sin and death? Every sinner who has not trusted in Jesus has condemnation on them, but if you trust in Jesus then you will live.

Praise Jesus for coming down and freeing us from our sins and from death. Thank You Jesus for dying for us so that we wouldn’t have to, praise God for sending His son to die for us. Thank You Jesus for being our atoning sacrifice. Thank You Jesus for dying for us and rising from the grave on the third day.

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.

  1. And He did that out of love. He loves us! He didn’t have to do that, but He chose to – because He loves us.

God bless, friend! Keep sharing the Good News! He is risen!

  2. a good one! I love to hear that, there is no condemnation to those who are in Jesus.

that even when you fail or sinned, you are not condemn and will not be condemned!

go on, keep on preaching child! you are blessed. amen.

    – grace and peace

  3. But why then says the Bible that with the 1st ressurection all the believers in Christ will be judged according to their works and then with the 2nd ressurection the unbelievers will be judged all according to their works? I’m a Christian.

    • We are judged on the fruit that we bear in Christ. We do not get righteousness from our good works. We are not rewarded with righteousness because of our good works.

“All of us have become like one who is unclean,
      and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)

If we try to win righteousness with our good works, our good works are as rags. Also:

“28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (John 6:28-29)

We should believe in Jesus who died for us on the cross, that is the only way to be given righteousness!
