Shedding Of the Blood

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Romans 3:25-26 which says:

25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[a] through the shedding of his blood —to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished — 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.”

Today we are going to talk about how Jesus shed His blood so that we could be righteous. Paul is saying that Jesus shed His blood so that we could live.

We were all sinners, Jews and Gentiles alike. We were all sinners but Jesus came down from heaven and He took our sins on Him, then He died for us on the cross! All of the punishment that we deserved was put on Jesus at the cross. Jesus had all the wrath of His own Father on Him, so that we could live. Jesus was (and is) righteous and He gave us His righteousness, His blood is on us and now the Lord looks on us and He sees His son.

The righteousness of Jesus was given to us on the cross.

We now have the righteousness that Jesus gave us. Yes, we still sin, but we should not sin habitually. Jesus shed His blood so that we could live, He shed His blood so that we could have eternal life. If you are an unbeliever then why don’t you repent of your sins and trust in Jesus as your savior?

Jesus died for us on the cross, now we can live. We were dead in our sins but now we are alive in Christ. Jesus died on a cross and He rose from the grave, then He ascended into heaven, so that we could live in Him and we are alive in Him. We are alive in Jesus because He died for us!

We are alive in Jesus!

Jesus died for our sins and now we are alive in Him, thank You Jesus!

Jesus gave us His righteousness at the cross and now we should give the Gospel to unbelievers so that they can live. We should give the Gospel to unbelievers so that they can have eternal life in Jesus and so that they can live in Jesus.

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
