All Under Sin

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Romans 3:9 which says:

What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.”

Today we will look at how we all have sin and how Jesus came down from heaven so that we could live. The Lord cannot stand sin and we were all sinners but that was why Jesus came down from heaven.

We were all sinners, Paul says that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. Because we all sinned, we all had God’s wrath on us and we all were going to die with God’s wrath on us. But Jesus came down from heaven and He lived of perfect life. Then Jesus took our sins along with God’s wrath on Him and He died for us on the cross! Jesus was the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Now if we trust in Jesus then we will be freed from our sins!

We are freed from our sins by Jesus who died on the cross for us and then rose from the grave!

Paul also talks about how the Jews don’t have an advantage which means that they don’t more righteous or more holy just because they are Jews. We are all sinners even the Jews, but that is why Jesus died for our sins on the cross. If you are an unbeliever then why don’t you trust in Jesus and live? Why don’t you repent of your sins and believe in Jesus? If you trust in Jesus then you will be freed from your sins and you will be a child of God.

As Christians we should share the Gospel with unbelievers so that they can trust in Jesus and live. We should give the Gospel to unbelievers so that they can have eternal life, we should tell them that they are sinners in need of a savior and that Jesus is the savior who came down from heaven to die for our sins. We should give the Gospel to them so that they can have eternal life and so that they can be freed from their sins.

We were all sinners and Jesus died for our sins, we should share the good news of the Gospel with unbelievers so that they can be saved from their sins.

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
