Eager To Share the Gospel

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Romans 1:15-16 which says:

15 That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”

Today we’re going to look at how we should not be ashamed of the Gospel and how the Gospel brings salvation to all people. Paul says that he was not ashamed of the Gospel and that the Gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to all that believe.

The Gospel is the power of God that brings salvation. The Gospel is that Jesus came  down from heaven and died on the cross with our sins and God’s wrath on Him. If you are an unbeliever than why don’t you trust in Jesus and repent of your sins? If you do trust in Jesus and repent of your sins then you will be saved from your sins. Have you trusted in Jesus as your savior?

Christians, do not be ashamed of the Gospel! The Gospel saves peoples lives, don’t be ashamed of it! If millions of people were sick and you knew how to cure them you wouldn’t be ashamed of the cure. In the same way we should not be ashamed of the Gospel which cures peoples sins. Many churches now don’t preach the Gospel and some Christians are ashamed of the Gospel but Paul says that He was not ashamed of the Gospel. In the same way we should not be ashamed of the Gospel, we should be bold and share the Gospel with people. Not only should we not be ashamed of the Gospel, we should be eager to share the Gospel. We should want to share the Gospel with unbelievers so that they can live.

We should be eager to share the Gospel because it is the power of God to bring salvation to those who believe. We should not be ashamed of the Gospel because it is what saves people. If you are an unbeliever then why don’t you repent of your sins and trust in Jesus as your savior? Jesus died for us, why don’t you trust in Him and be freed from your sins? Why don’t you believe in Jesus as your atoning sacrifice?

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
