Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 56:2 which says, “Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrated it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
What does he mean, he is pretty much saying that your blessed if you are perfect. He is saying that and you are blessed if your perfect. But I’m not perfect! My point exactly. (silence) What I mean is that we can’t be perfect… on our own. If we are perfect we are blessed, but since we aren’t perfect Jesus died for us. For them they had to be perfect but they couldn’t just like you and me. Basically we can’t be perfect so Jesus was for us, He took all of our sins on Him and He died on the cross, with our sins on Him. Thank you so much Jesus.
Jesus took the penalty of our sins on Him, He delivered is from our sins. But that doesn’t give us the right to sin because “Jesus forgave me of all of my sins”, ”
Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We are dead to our sins and alive in Christ thank you so much Jesus.
Do you believe that Jesus took away all of your sins on the cross?
Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
