Hi God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 47:4 which says, “Our Redeemer the Lord Almighty is His name- the holy one of Israel.”
Wait a second, in the verses before and after it’s talking about how Babylon is going to be destroyed, and in the last verse it even says that there is no one who can save them, so why is he (Isaiah) saying that the Lord is their Redeemer? Well it doesn’t mean that He is all love and no wrath, His wrath was shown at the cross, and Babylon was acting as though they were God, saying that there was none other than them, and the cross hadn’t happened yet, I’m not saying that God changes His mind, He’s the same yesterday today and forever, and God still disciplines those who say that they are God, and Babylon was saying that.
Well even though Babylon was destroyed, if we accept Jesus as our savior, and accept that we have sin, then we will be saved, if we ask God for something, and something that is in the Bible not just a million dollars, then He will give it to us, thank you so much Jesus.
Jesus died for our sins on the cross, but that doesn’t give us a license to sin, the Holy Spirit is in us, and if we love Jesus then we won’t want to keep sinning, and when I say if we love Jesus I mean if we are true christians, we should love Jesus, He delivered us from our sins, thank you Jesus.
Are you trusting in Jesus and believing that He died for your sins on the cross?
Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
