Carried, at our old age?

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 46:4 which says, “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you and I will rescue you.”

Carry us in our old age, and what does he mean “I will rescue you” from what, and why? Well first of all for them Isaiah is saying that they have turned away from the Lord, and Isaiah is calling them back, but also he’s pointing forward to someone who did save us, Jesus, He died for us, we were in our sins and without a savior we would die, but Jesus was our savior, He died for us, thank you so much Jesus.

Since Isaiah is talking about how they turned away from the Lord, that is something we need to ask God to help us not do, and we also should thank God for sending His son to die for us, ”

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him. (NIV John 3:16-17)

God loved us so much that He gave His one and only son to die for us, and that proves that it isn’t our goodness that got us out, we aren’t good enough to save ourselves, and we never were, and we’re nevery going to be, only Jesus got us out, thank you Jesus.

He was (and is) our high priest and He made the ultimant sacifice He saved us from our sins.

Are you believing in Jesus, and the fact that He died for your sins on the cross?

Grace and truth, Charity Cleveland.
