Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 44:3 which says, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.”
Wait a minute, who’s offspring is Isaiah talking about? Well if you look in the verse right before this then you’ll see who he’s talking about, “Jeshurun, whom I have chosen” is what he says, and the Lord says that He is going to pour His blessing on His descendants, He might make them as numerous as the sand on the sea-shore, or the stars in the sky, but the Lord says that He is chosen, and that He will pour water out on dry land, just like how Jesus is God’s son (and He is God, because Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are 3 in 1) and He was “water poured out on a dry land”, thank you Jesus.
Jesus died for our sins on the cross, He paid the penalty for our sins, ”
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. (ESV 1 John 2:2)
He did pay the penalty for our sins, so God’s chosen one, poured water on a dry land, and gave us a cold cup of water to drink, ”
And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” (ESV Mathew 10:40)
Jesus gave us a cup of cold water, thank you so much Jesus.
Are you drinking from the fountainof Jesus, or are you just watching it?
