Jesus is our shelter in the time of storm

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 32:2 which says, “Each man will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

Just like Jesus, because Jesus is our shelter, He is our refuge in the storm, how? Because He died for us, we would have had to pay the punishment for our sins, and all of God’s wrath, but Jesus suffered it for us, and He is our refuge that we can run to, no matter what, and that reminds me of the song, “A shelter in the time of storm, go here if you want to hear it,

Jesus is our refuge in the time of storm, because we can always run to Him, He will never turn His back on us, He proved it by dying on the cross, I mean honestly, would, if you were Jesus, come down from Heaven and then be in a trial and then be called “guilty” even though you did nothing wrong, and then die a criminals death, even though you were perfect, for people you don’t even know (of course God knows all of us because He made us, but from our way of viewing things)? Because that is what Jesus did for us, thank you so much Jesus.

We should trust in Jesus, because He did all of that for us, and He is not human, He never has, never will and at the moment He isn’t turning His back on us, because He loves us, not because of anything we have done, He took all of our sins and God’s wrath, that doesn’t mean that we don’t get disciplined¬†if we do something wrong, because we still aren’t perfect, but discipline is different from punishment, because when you punish someone, it is just hurting them or something like that because they did something wrong, but discipline is different because you are correcting them, and showing them not to do that anymore.

But Jesus took the punishment for us, so that we could live, thank you Jesus.

Are you trusting in Jesus as your shelter in the time of storm?
