We were perishing, but Jesus died for us!

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 28:13 which says, “And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.”

So this verse is saying that those who were perishing in Assyria and Egypt would come to worship the Lord, and their condition reminds me of all people, because we were (or are) perishing in our sins, but if we accept Jesus as our savior we can come and worship Him, and wer are saved of our sins, because Jesus died for us, thank you so much Jesus.

So Jesus died for us, so that we could go free of our sins, but that doesn’t mean that we can keep on sinning because Jesus forgave us of our sins, ”

Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? (Romans 5:20-21 & Romans 6:1-3)

So we are dead to our sins, and we are alive in Jesus, thank you Jesus.

Do you believe that Jesus died for our sins on the cross?
