Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 21:3 which says,” At this my body is racked with pain, pangs seize me, like those of a woman in labor, I am bewildered by what I see.”
So here Isaiah says that at what he sees (look in the earlier verses) he is racked with pain, which reminds me of somebody, Jesus, because on the cross He was seized with pain and He had pain like a woman in labor, but He had it worse, because He had not only the sins of the whole world, which I assure you is a lot, but He had all of God’s wrath poured out on Him at the cross, and even though He was (and is) God’s son (although He is God, because Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are three in one they are the trinity) God turned His face away from Him, so that He could welcome us, thank you so much Jesus.
So Jesus had pain and suffering, and anguish at the cross, for us, so that we could go free of our sins, and so that we could be accepted as sons of God, for our sake He died, and for our sake He took all of that pain and suffering, and He had more pain than a woman in labor, for us, thank you Jesus.
So even though He was (and is) perfect, and even though we are sinners, and we don’t deserve for Jesus to die for us, He did, and He gave us His red robe of righteousness, so that we could go free.
Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins?
