Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 18:4 which says, “This is what the Lord says to me: “I will remain quite and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”
So God told Isaiah that He would remain silent and that He would just look on from His dwelling place, and He says that He would be like the shimmering heat of the sunshine, but with Jesus there was no light, it was dark for 3 hours, why? So that we could be saved of our sins, Jesus had darkness so that we could have light, He took our sins and gave us His red robe of righteousness, so God looks at us as though He was looking at Jesus (although Jesus is God because Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are three in one, they are the trinity) even though we do sin, Jesus blood is covering us (not physically, spiritually) and He paid the price for our sins, also the Holy Spirit is in us and He is making us more like Jesus.
But that doesn’t mean that we can go on sinning because Jesus paid the price for our sins, ”
Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? (ESV Romans 5:20-21 & Romans 6:1-3)
So we cannot live in sin if we are dead to it, thank you so much Jesus.
Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins?
