The Lord’s anger was taken out on Jesus

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 12:1 which says, “In that day you will say: “I will praise you, O Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.”

So here Isaiah says that God’s anger had been turned away from him and that the Lord comforted him instead, that reminds me of the cross, because God’s anger was on us, but because Jesus took it away from us we don’t have God’s anger on us, because Jesus took away our sins on the cross, and because He had all of God’s wrath taken out on Him at the cross, we don’t have it, Jesus took every drop out of that cup, ”

And going a little farther He fell on his face and prayed, saying,

“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” (ESV Mathew 26:39)

So Jesus took the cup of wrath from us and He drank it for us, so we should praise the Lord, thank you so much Jesus.

So now instead of God’s wrath on us, all we have is God’s comfort in times of trouble, because Jesus gave us the right to be sons (or daughters) of God at the cross, God looks at us as though He was looking at Jesus, because of Jesus’ blood that is covering us, He sees us as thought we are perfect, even though we still sin, the Holy Spirit is in us and He is making us more like Jesus, thank you Jesus.

So Jesus took all of God’s anger that was on us, onto Him, and He gave us His red robe of righteousness, thank you Jesus.

Do you believe that Jesus took the cup of wrath on Him?
