Our sins are washed away

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Isaiah 4:4 which says, “The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; He will cleanse the bloodstains of Jerusalem by a spirit of judgement and a spirit of fire.”

So this verse is saying that the Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion, but we can also compare ourselves to them, because Jesus washed our sins away at the cross, just like how their sins were washed away by the Lord, and the verse says that it will be a spirit of judgement and of fire, just like at the cross, because all of God’s judgement was poured out on Jesus at the cross, instead of us, thank you so much Jesus.

So Jesus was crucified on the cross but not only was it physical pain it was spiritual pain because He had all of our sins and the sins of the whole world on Him at the cross, and even though He was innocent He was still killed on the cross, and in fact even Pilate said that He was innocent, but He didn’t what the Jews to go tell Ceaser that He wasn’t going to kill Him so he went ahead and did it anyway, ”

And some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying, “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.'” Yet even about this their testimony did not agree. (ESV Mark 14:57-59)

So they even bore false witness against Jesus but it was not true (hence the reason it is called “FALSE witness”)

Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins on the cross?
