A fountain

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Song of songs 4:12 which says, “You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride; you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.”

So this time the lover is talking and he is calling his beloved a spring and a fountain, and that is was Jesus makes us, He refreshes us, and He makes us new, just like the woman at the well, ”

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. (ESV John 4:13-14)

So if we accept Jesus as our saviour and we “drink” of Him then we will have eternal life, like He said in John, “whoever drinks of me will never be thirsty again” He isn’t talking about physical thirst, He is talking about spiritual thirst, because we all want to worship something, and we all want to have “fun” and to satisfy our wants, and Jesus is the only one who can fill that “hole” but some people either don’t accept it or they just don’t know about Jesus, thank you Jesus for dying for us.

The only reason He can fulfill that need is because He was (and is) perfect and He died for us because we cannot (never could and never will be able to) be perfect on our own, thank you Jesus for dying for us.

Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins on the cross?
