Jesus the king

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Ecclesiastes 4:14 which says (and it is talking about how a poor but wise youth is better than a rich but foolish king), “The youth may have come from prison to the kingship, or he may have been born in poverty within his kingdom.”

So Solomon is talking about how a poor but wise youth is better than a foolish king (like I said before), but we can also apply this to Jesus, because here Solomon is saying that he may have been born into a poor family, like Jesus, I mean the first bed He ever slept on was a manger, and He was born in a stable with some shepherds and a donkey or two, maybe a goat, for company, but that was to fulfill prophecy along with the wise men that came, anyway Jesus was born into a poor family, but Jesus didn’t have a kingdom on earth (even though the disciples thought so) He had (and has) a kingdom in Heaven, because He was (and is) God over everything, and He came down from Heaven and came into a human body and then (after living a perfect life) died on a cross with our sins on Him, and then on the third day rose again, but our sins stayed behind, and then He ascended into Heaven where He is preparing a place for us, thank you Jesus.

So Jesus is a king, but even though He was (and is) a king He humbles Himself so much that not only did He become a human but He died a criminals death, even though He wasn’t even guilty of anything, He still died on a cross, even though the jews knew that He wasn’t guilty and Pilate knew He wasn’t guilty, He still died, why you ask? Because He was dying for our sins, it was all because God wanted it to happen, He knew it was going to happen, and the reason is because on our own we are not perfect, and we can never be perfect without Jesus, but if we accept Jesus as our saviour then we are covered in His righteousness and His perfection, thank you so much Jesus.

Do you believe that Jesus humbled Himself from the God of everything to dying a criminals death on a cross for your sins?
