Fall into your own pit…

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Proverbs 26:27 which says, “If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will roll back on him.”

So this verse is telling us that if we “dig a pit” for someone to fall into, or if we “roll away a stone” for someone, then we are just going to fall into it ourselves, just like Haman, Haman built a gallows for Mordecai to die on, but in the end he was hung on them, so Haman plotted evil against Mordecai and fell into his own trap, and just like the jews, they had the blood of Jesus on their own heads, when they killed Jesus they were taking His blood on them, Pilate tried to wash it all away when he washed his hands, but he still killed an innocent man, and he knew it!

So Jesus died on the cross for our sins, even though Pilate should have said “hey guys this guy is innocent why should I kill him” and let Jesus go, he had peer pressure, the jews were going to tell Ceaser if he didn’t kill Jesus, so he went ahead and killed Him, but that was all apart of God’s master plan, He planned for it to happen that way so that we could be forgiven of our sins, Jesus died on the cross with our sins on Him, and then He was buried for three days, and on the third day He rose from the grave, but the sins stayed behind, and then He ascended into heaven, and is now preparing a place for us, thank you so much Jesus.

So Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and the jews had His blood on their heads, also this is a lesson for us, because if we plan something evil for someone, say a gallows, or anything other than that, maybe we don’t want to get punished for something, so we set someone else up, well we are just going to fall into our own pit, no matter what, God always “finds us out” because He knows that we are going to do it before we even do it, so we can’t hide anything from God.

So we can’t hide anything from God, and Jesus died for our sins on the cross, thank you so much Jesus.

Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins?
