Hi, God’s word for me today is in Proverbs 6:6 which says,” Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord a man avoids evil.”
So through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for, that brings to mind a ultiment sacrifice of an innocent man who loved guilty people, not because of what they did or because of the fact that they (we) were perfect, but because He loved them (us), and that He died for them (us) so that their sins would be atoned for, Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that our sins would be atoned for, even though He was (and is) perfect, and even though we were sinful and we didn’t deserve anything from Jesus, He still died for us, thank you so much Jesus.
So Jesus atoned for our sins on the cross because He loved (and loves) us, He didn’t love us because we did anything for Him, or because we are so good, but because He loves us, He created us, and even though we fail Him, He never fails us, we can turn away from Him, but He will never turn away from us, thank you so much Jesus, for atoning for our sins.
We should be thankful that Jesus atoned for our sins and turned us away from evil, because by nature we are all evil, because Adam sinned we are all sinful, but it is not Adams fault that we sin, we can’t blame it on him, because God planned for it to happen, but of course it is not God’s “fault” that we sin, and that is why Jesus died for our sins, and, if we believe in Jesus, we can resist sin, because Jesus in us is able to, of course we still sin, but we can ask for forgiveness from the person we might have sinned against and from God, thank you Jesus.
Do you trust in Jesus?
