The eyes of the Lord are everywhere…

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Proverbs 15:3 which says,” The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

So the Lord watches everything, so if you’re trying to hide from God it won’t work, remember Jonah, he tried to hide from God because he didn’t want to go to Nineveh, so instead he sailed Tarshish, but, if you remember, Jonah ended up in the belly of a whale for three days and then was spit up Nineveh, so, of course, God got what He wanted, of course God planned for it to happen, but Jonah did try to hide from God, and he ended up in the belly of a whale.

So we can’t hide anything from God, including sin, because if we try to hide sin from a person it might work… for a little while, but you always get found out, but if you try to hide something from God you can’t fool him, because He knows everything that you do, before you do them, but God also sent his son to die on the cross for our sins, even though He was (and is) perfect, He still died for our sins, of course that doesn’t mean that we can go on sinning,”

For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.

Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?

By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? (ESV Romans 5:19-21 and 6:1 & 2)

So we can’t keep on sinning because we died to sin in Christ, thank you Jesus for dying for our sins on the cross.

Do you trust in Jesus.
