Just like Jesus…

Hi, Gods word for me today is in Proverbs 1:18 which says,” These men lie in wait for their own blood; they waylay only for themselves.

So I know it doesn’t sound very good but if you think about what happened to Jesus at the cross then it makes sense, because the Jews crucified Jesus, and if you remember the blood of Jesus was on their own heads, (by the way the men he is talking about are in the verses before this verse), also these men fell into their own trap, and we can learn that those who are planning evil against Gods people will fall into their own trap (if it is God’s will), like in Esther, Hamen was planning on killing Mordecai by hanging him but in the end Hamen was hung on the very same gallows that he prepared for Mordecai,”

Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, “Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows, because he intended to lay hands on the Jews. (ESV Esther 8:7)

So Jesus died on a cross for us even though he was (and is) perfect, and even though we were sinful and well sinful (even though we still sin we can ask for forgiveness from the person we sinned against and from God, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t sin, because if we are a true christian and we have a relationship with God then we won’t want to sin, like the relationship between a child and a parent (or at least the relationship that should be between a child and a parent), thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins,

Do you believe that Jesus came to die for your sins, and that he cleansed you of your unrighteousness and gave you his righteousness?
