Hi, God‘s word for me today is in Psalms 149:4 which says,” For the Lord takes delight in his people; for He crowns the humble in salvation.
So if we are God‘s people then the Lord will take delight in us,
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. (1 John 3:(part of) 1)
So we are Gods children, and God loves us, and he loved (and loves) us so much that he sent Jesus to die for us on the cross, thank you Jesus.
Also if we are humble the Lord will “crown” us with salvation, and what that means is that we can’t be prideful and accept Jesus as our saviour at the same time, because if were prideful then we might think that we don’t need a saviour, after all I got myself into this mess and I can get myself out, or we could be even more prideful and say that we are perfect on our own, which is wrong, on our own we can’t be perfect, I mean being prideful is a sin so there you’re not perfect, but Jesus died because he loves us, and he took his perfection and gave it to us and took away our sinfulness, even though he was (and is) perfect, he gave us his righteousness and took our unrighteousness, thank you Jesus.
So Jesus took away our sins at the cross, and we have to be humble to accept Jesus as our saviour, also if we believe that Jesus came to die for us and is our saviour then we are God’s children.
Do you trust in Jesus?
