Hi, Gods word for me today is in Psalms 146:(the ending of 7)8 which says,” The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed.
So the first part of it (or the ending of the other verse) is that the Lord sets the prisoners free, and you may be thinking that we aren’t prisoners and all that, but we are prisoners because we are prisoners in our sins, our sin makes us prisoners, but Jesus sets us free, because he died on the cross for us to set us free from our sins, thank you Jesus.
Also when it says that the Lord gives sight to the blind, it again applies to us because we were blind in our sins, but Jesus gave us sight when he died on the cross, thank you Jesus. Also when it says that says that the Lord lifts up those who are “bowed down”, you may think that it means we are bowed down in our sins and that is true, but it also means that the Lord lifts up those who are humble, because if we don’t “puff ourselves up” then the Lord will “bring us down” but if we humble ourselves then the Lord will lift us up.
So Jesus died on the cross for us, thank you Jesus.
Do you trust in Jesus?
