Call on the Lord

Hi, Gods word for me today is in Psalms 145:18 which says,” The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

So David says that the Lord is near to us if we call to him in truth, you may be wondering why we have to call to him in truth, well,” You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44 ESV)

So if the devil is the father of lies then God must be the father of truth, right, and we should always speak the truth.

Also we can call out to the Lord because He loves us, and in fact He loved (and loves) us so much that he died on a cross for us, and if you love someone so much that you would take the sins off of them and on to you and you would take Gods wrath towards sin on you and die on a cross, then you must really love them, and Jesus really loves all of us because He took the sins of the whole world on Him and Gods wrath towards sin on Him, even though He was (and is) perfect, and He died on a cross for us wow, thank you Jesus.

So Jesus loved (and loves) us so much that He died for us on a cross, and even though we sin, we can repent and ask for forgiveness from God and (if we have sinned against someone) from them to, and we can cry out to God, but sometimes He will say no, and we have to accept that, because God always works things out for good, so whatever is going on is for your good or for the good of others.

Do you trust in Jesus?
