How could the Lord love us?

Hi, God has given me something in Psalms 117:2 which says (it is talking about the Lord), For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

So why is God‘s love great for us, I mean we are sinful wretches, who could love us, well God loves us, in fact He loved (and loves) us so much that he sent his son to die for us, on the cross, even though Jesus was (and is) perfect He died on a cross that we should have died on, and now because Jesus died for us we are perfect, because Jesus gave us his righteousness in exchange for our ashes our sin, even though we sin often every day we can ask for forgiveness (and if we have sinned against someone ask for forgiveness from them), thank you so much, Jesus, for dying for us.

So God loved us so much (and Jesus and the Holy Spirit, because they are three in one) that He sent his only son, Jesus, to die on a cross, for our sins.

Do you trust in Jesus for dying for your sins?
