God keeps his promises.

Hi, God’s word for me today is in Hebrews 6:15 which says, and so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.

So we should wait patiently, because it was years before Abraham got what he was promised, and God has promised us eternal life through Jesus Christ, because Jesus died for us and He gave us His red robe of righteousness, and because He took our sins on Him, God sees us as though He was looking at Jesus, even though we still sin, Jesus blood is covering us, and the Holy Spirit is in us and He is making us more like Jesus, thank you Jesus.

But that doesn’t mean that we can keep sinning because Jesus blood is covering us, ”

Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? (ESV Romans 5:20-21 & Romans 6:1-3)

So we are dead to our sins and alive in Jesus, thank you so much Jesus.

Do you believe that you are promised eternal life through Jesus?

  1. My faith must remain strong. I do not know why I doubted the strength of God. I want to dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
    in John it tells us:
Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions, if it were so I WOULD HAVE NOT TOLD YOU! For I GO to PREPARE a place for you and were I go there ye MAY BE also…
isn’t that the bomb??? 🙂 I think that is so awesome
That one of my fav’s i wanted to share that with you Charity.
    Kind Regards,
    Georgia Hensley

PS. I bet your parents are so very proud of you.
